Hamilton Pay Station Replacement

Replace the Hamilton pay station. Keep the wash.

Hamilton Gold Line and Commander units did their job for a long time, but they can't sign up an unlimited member, can't be managed from your phone and are getting harder to keep running. Repoint drops a modern pay station and controller into the same lane, keeps your equipment, and has you selling memberships the same afternoon.

Why Operators Move On

The old pay station takes money. It doesn't make any.

A Hamilton unit is a cash and card acceptor with a code printer. That was enough when every wash was a single sale. It is not enough against an express tunnel down the road selling unlimited plans, and every service call on aging hardware is a reminder.

Revenue

It can't sell a membership

The Repoint pay station offers the club to every car and signs them up with a card tap. Members are recognized by plate or NFC on the next visit. That is the revenue line the old unit never had.

Reliability

Parts and service are a gamble

Bill validators, card readers and boards for older pay stations are increasingly sourced second-hand. Repoint hardware is current, sold direct, and supported remotely through the kiosk's own camera and mic.

Control

It can't be run from your phone

Prices, packages, promotions, live cameras and sales reports live in the Repoint dashboard. Change a price at the dinner table and the lane updates in seconds.

What you get in the swap

A pay station, a controller and a membership engine, in the footprint you already have.

Repoint pay station

23.5″ sunlight-readable touchscreen, tap, chip, swipe, Apple Pay and Google Pay, voice-guided upsells and a painted stainless steel anti-tamper enclosure.

Repoint Hub controller

Runs tunnels, in-bay automatics, rollovers and touchless washes, acts as a standalone point of sale and keeps selling offline.

Unlimited memberships

Tap-to-join at the lane, automatic renewals, plate recognition and fleet accounts, with no revenue share.

Wash codes still work

Sell and redeem codes at the register, the pump or the kiosk during the transition, so nobody holding a receipt is turned away.

Pay-at-pump

Gilbarco and Verifone integration for gas station washes, so fuel keeps bundling washes while the bay sells on its own.

Cash handled

Cash is accepted and logged by an attendant at the kiosk, so every sale shows in the same report whatever the tender.

Live cameras and emergency help

See the lane from your phone; a stuck customer reaches support with one touch and is helped remotely.

Data migrated before install

Wash packages, prices and any existing member list are imported ahead of install day so the lane opens ready to sell.

How the Swap Works

Morning install, washing by lunch.

The same three steps we use for every retrofit, whether the old unit is a Hamilton pay station, a Unitec POS 4000 or a coin box.

Step 1

Tell us what's in the lane

A 20-minute call covers the pay station model, the wash equipment, pumps and signage. We confirm compatibility and quote the swap in writing.

Step 2

Wire in where it sat

The Repoint pay station and Hub go into the existing position and connect to your equipment. Packages and prices are already loaded.

Step 3

Sell by the afternoon

We test every package, every tender and the pay-at-pump path, train your team and leave you selling memberships the same day.

Also Replacing a Unitec?

Hamilton, Unitec, coin box: one answer.

Many sites run a Hamilton pay station in front of a Unitec POS 4000 or another legacy controller. Repoint replaces both at once: the pay station takes the money, the Hub runs the wash, and the two were built to work together.

  • ✓Unitec POS 4000 — the Hub is a direct drop-in replacement with the same wiring and bay.
  • ✓Other legacy controllers — most are supported; tell us the model and we confirm on the first call.
  • ✓Mixed lots — keep a working unit on one lane and modernize the other; everything reports to one dashboard.
FAQ

Hamilton pay station replacement: common questions

Can Repoint replace a Hamilton Gold Line or Commander pay station?

Yes. The Repoint pay station goes into the same lane position and connects to your existing wash equipment, either through your current controller or the Repoint Hub. Tell us the model and we confirm compatibility on the first call.

Do I have to replace my wash equipment too?

No. Tunnels, in-bay automatics, rollovers and touchless washes all stay. Only the pay station and, if you choose, the controller change.

What happens to outstanding wash codes?

They are honored through the transition. You can keep selling codes at the register or pump while customers move to tap-to-pay and memberships.

Does the new pay station take cash?

Cash is accepted and logged by an attendant at the kiosk so it appears in the same reporting as card sales. Card, tap and mobile wallet payments are fully unattended.

How long does the swap take?

Most single-lane swaps are installed and selling the same afternoon, with packages and prices loaded before install day.

Will it work with my gas station pumps?

Yes. Gilbarco and Verifone pay-at-pump integration keeps fuel bundling washes while the pay station sells memberships at the bay.

Can I keep running a Hamilton unit on one lane?

Yes. Mixed lots are common during a phased upgrade. Everything on Repoint reports to one dashboard while the old unit runs out its life.

How much does it cost to replace a Hamilton pay station?

Repoint quotes the swap per site, because the enclosure, payment devices, controller and pumps change the number. Hardware is sold direct with no dealer markup and trade-in credit is available for your current equipment. See our pricing page or book a retrofit assessment.
